FOOD OUTREACH
Every month, we give away approximately 400 bags of free groceries to people in need. We meet in our Food Pantry at the church building on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. As people from various neighborhoods come, we give each family a bag of groceries, a warm smile and a cup of coffee. This gives us the opportunity to visit with them, establish relationships and pray with them. We also partner with another church to deliver food to the 26th street area. If you or a family you know is in need of food, feel free to contact the church office or come to the outreach on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
MONDAY MEAL
Another outreach opportunity we have is to partner with inCommon and provide a meal for the Common Table community on Monday nights about every 6 weeks. Common Table is an outreach that supplies a meal for the impoverished and homeless people of Omaha. Check back for the next Monday Meal date.
HEALING PRAYER
Do you have a physical or emotional prayer need? We believe that God has many ways of loving on His children. One of those ways is through healing. Whether it’s a physical or emotional need, or if you would just like a personal and concentrated time of prayer, we would love the opportunity to pray with you and have teams available for such requests. There are no ‘guidelines’ or ’spiritual hoops’ to jump through… just come as you are, and God will do the rest. Contact the church office to schedule an appointment.
