Fish and Loaves
Every month, we give away approximately 400 bags of free groceries to people in need. We meet in our Food Pantry at the church building on the 3rd Saturday of each month at 9:00 a.m. As people from various neighborhoods come, we give each family a couple bags of groceries, a warm smile and a cup of coffee. This gives us the opportunity to visit, establish relationships and pray together. Every few months, we also offer a free hot lunch on the Fish & Loaves Saturday.
We also partner with another church to deliver food to the 26th street area. If you or a family you know is in need of food, feel free to contact the church office or come to the outreach on the 3rd Saturday of every month.
Service Fair
Once a year, we offer a day where people from the community can be blessed by receiving FREE services such as: haircuts, family photographs, nail painting, a hot lunch, resume and job consultation, wills, hearing tests and fun stuff for the kiddos. We also offer the opportunity to give back by donating blood through the Red Cross. It’s amazing to see the relationships that form simply through giving in a practical way.
