Why do we do church?

It's all because of one man...

Jesus Christ, also known as Jesus of Nazareth, changed the world by his birth, death and resurrection. He changed the world by changing lives. He did it two thousand years ago and he is still doing it today. He took a group of very diverse men and turned them into a group that gave up everything, including their lives, to follow him.

Who is this Jesus? Can I know him today? Is he real?

Yes, he is real and you can know him -- he calls us all into a personal relationship with him. But to know who Jesus is and to develop that relationship with him is a process, like every relationship we have. When Jesus called his first disciples (or apprentices), he told them to "come and see." After that he called them to "come and follow me." He is still calling people to himself today.

Jesus said, "My purpose is to give life in all its fullness" (John 10:10 nlt). He guides us into the fullness of life through his teaching and the relationship we have with him. We are on the journey of getting to know Jesus and we invite you to join us.
